Noun: A noun is a name of person, place, thing, quality, or act. Example- toy, book, john, Florida sadness
A noun is the name of a person, place, thing or any thing. Nouns have different types such as Proper and common nouns & abstract nouns.
Kids also can say any naming words, things, places are the nouns.
Nouns are naming words.Its also called subject.
Common noun - A common noun can be any general items which has not any name or any place name. Common noun start with a lowercase letter. Never use a capital letter unless it start with a sentence.
Common Nouns (Things) Refrigerator, magnet, stove, window, coffee maker, wallpaper, spatula, sink, plate—all of these things are common nouns.
You can say Stove is common noun. But if any sentence has kenmore stove it is not common noun because it has a name.
Common Place-Mall, restaurant, school, post office, backyard, beach, pet store, supermarket, gas station.
Proper Nouns- Proper nouns are words that we use for special or particular people, place, & things.
Example - Woman, Country, Mall are common nouns- These have not any names. Mary, United States are proper nouns - These have naming nouns. that mean Proper Nouns(Places) Starbucks,Simon, Levi's, Big Mac,Roll-O-Rocker, Australia,Captain Richard Orsini, Thomas Edison Any name- Kristina, Johny, Kiara... etc. Any week name - Sunday, Monday etc. Any month name - January, March etc. Any place name- Florida, United state, Alaska etc.
Abstract Nouns Abstract nouns that we used to put name on feelings and qualities. These nouns are always ended be ess, sion, tion. Sadness, Happiness, tiredness etc. discuss, vision, action, organization & more.
Plural Nouns- Plural nouns are ending with s. Like cat- cats, dog-dogs.
Six rules for plurals
1.The plural of nouns is usually ended by adding - s to a singular noun.
pan pans cat cats spoon spoons flower flowers hat hats
2.If nouns ending in Y either add s or es or change into ies. If a singular noun ends in y and is come first by a vowel (a, e,i,o,u) the letter s is simply added with no other changes made. monkey + s = monkeys

3.Most nouns ending in f or fe make their plurals with ves.

Irregular Plural Nouns Certain English nouns change a vowel sound when they become plural. These include goose, geese; man, men; mouse, mice; and tooth, teeth.
Some nouns don't change at all when they become plural. These include deer, fish, sheep, and species.
A few nouns have plural forms that are left from Old English. These include child, children and ox, oxen.

Verbs - Verbs is action word. They describe what someone is doing. There are three types of verbs: action, linking, and auxiliary.
Action Verb- An action verb expresses action. It shows what a person or a thing does.

Action can be thinking, relaxing,or any action that you notice in the sentence.
Linking Verbs - Linking verbs do not express action. Instead, they connect the subject of the verb to additional information about the subject.
Linking verbs are verbs that show links between subject & verb.
Example - John is tired. The cheese tastes so salty.

Adverb - A word that tells more about a verb, an adjective or an adverb.It often ends in "ly". Examples: carefully, easily, barely,socially, politically, financially, naturally, internally, externally, fraternally, modestly, immediately, shortly, triumphantly.
I can easily solve this math problem. Easily is a adverb. Example The dog climbed slowly up the tree. Slowly is a adverb.
Adverbs of place describe where something happens. Most adverbs of place are also used as prepositions.
